Golf’s greatest professional players test their skill and resolve each year on the Stadium Course with the PGA Tour’s flagship event, THE PLAYERS Championship. Come September, the best Players on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour will face the same challenges and walk in the footsteps of PGA TOUR legends as they compete for the coveted title of Senior or National Champion.

The PLAYERS Stadium Course is widely regarded as one of the top courses in the world and is revered for its revolutionary layout that features arguably the best finishing holes in all of golf that includes the formidable Par-3 seventeenth island green.

As sibling to the world-renowned Stadium Course, Dye’s Valley Course has had its share of legends competing on its manicured surfaces and is no pushover compared to its more famous counterpart.

With water on every hole, the Valley Course puts a premium on accuracy and has played host to the Senior Players Championship, Cadillac NFL Golf Classic, and PGA Nationwide Tour’s Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open. Former U.S Open Champion Orville Moody holds the course record with a 64 back in 1989.

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club – Ocean

Designed in 1928 by famed British architect, Herbert Bertram Strong, the Par 72, 6,811-yard Ocean Course has received praises since its inception. In 1939, The Ocean Course was selected as the host for the Ryder Cup Matches. Unfortunately, just months prior to the scheduled event, it was cancelled due to the onset of World War II. In 1942, after completing a match, golf legend Bobby Jones commented, “it’s a course to challenge professionals.”

Located less than 10-minutes from the host hotel, the Ocean Course’s 101 strategically positioned sand bunkers enhance the beauty and increase the challenge of the golf experience. Designed to test all aspects of one’s game, the elevated greens place a demand on thoughtful and accurate approach shots as well as an imaginative short game.

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club – LAGOON

Located less than 10-minutes from the host hotel, Ponte Vedra’s second test of golf is The Lagoon Course, a 6,022 yard par-70 that plays much longer and difficult than the yardage suggests. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, the course was restored in 2007 under the direction of Bobby Weed who enhanced the layout, adding character and challenge to the golf experience.

Water is the dominant feature with a mosaic of lakes and lagoons present on eleven holes. Tall pines, palms, and ancient, sprawling oaks form the contours of this lushly landscaped course.
